Why isn't my automatic watch working?

Unlike our battery-operated watches, automatic-movement watches run off kinetic energy. The more you wear it, the more "charge" it gets.

When you first receive your automatic watch, we recommend you click the crown out two steps and wind it 45 times to "charge" it, then set the time and date, then wear it. You will also have to do this if it's left in storage for too long without wearing.
